"Steve came in to talk to group of Wolves’ Academy Under-18 players, and his powerful and entertaining delivery quickly gained their concentration and their respect. Of the large group listening to Steve’s presentation, some will make it as a player at Wolves, some will make it at other clubs, but unfortunately, there will also be some who will be forced to find another career. The extensive content within Steve’s story carried examples and messages which were of value to all those different circumstances, and the experiences and lessons were taken on by the lads who remained receptive throughout. Steve’s natural style and effortless good humour also added to the overall quality of the presentation, which I believe would be of benefit not only to young footballers but indeed all ages of people in other non-sporting working environments as well."
