The ‘How to be a Courage Queen’ session inspires girls around the world to become Queen of their own life. Rachael Alexander shows how ladies can increase their self-respect, self-belief and become a lifelong member of the self-confidence club.

Inspiring females to aim high with their ambitions and giving them permission to say 'No' to those who disrespect them, Rachael teaches practical ways to stay positive in order for good mental health to be prevalent.

Rachael speaks in a down to earth, jargon free way that all age groups can relate to. Covering subjects of body image, relationships, friendships and how to handle social media, Rachael shows how important it is to take responsibility for your own feelings and value your own opinions over others. Rachael is seen as an expert on the subject of courage.

Rachael is a published author and has delivered contracts for the NHS where her teachings statistically proved to improve mental health. With a first class degree in Counselling Psychology and qualifications in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Rachael combines her knowledge with her personal experience of learning how to be a Courage Queen, leaving an abusive relationship and reclaiming her power allowing her to follow her dreams. She is passionate to share her learning with females everywhere, regardless of their age.

Testimonials from Teachers

"Rachael is engaging, motivational and inspiring. The approaches and techniques she recommends are valuable and applicable to young and old alike. We use Rachael to deliver confidence-building students to our final year undergraduate students. They really appreciate the sessions she delivers and warm to her honest and approachable manner. The techniques she equips them with leave them well-prepared for making the transition from education to full-time employment."

– Dr David Gray, Assistant Head of Department, Hull University

"The sessions for our girls really help them to focus on their studies and take responsibility to own their success. To hear the girls openly admit what they could do better such as turning off Facebook or curtail socialising whilst revising was amazing to hear. Made a positive difference to morale and a positive talk for all young people in education."

– Sally Richardson, Community Partner Coordinator & Careers Advisor, Hornsea School & Language College

"I repeatedly saw the impact of how Rachael made young girls think about their life by giving them permission to be themselves and follow their own ambitions. Rachael’s talks help students, parents and teachers think about how they can be more courageous in their own life and how to take action, which builds their self-respect and self-confidence. Highly recommend."
