Voted as one of the top students in London for his efforts and presented with an award at the House of Commons in for this achievement, Levi currently speaks in schools, colleges and prisons around the UK, encouraging young people to maximise their potential. His desire is to change lives and make a difference with his inspiring story.
In Aug 2005, Levi left secondary education with 1 GCSE, attaining a B in Mathematics. The other results included 4 D’s, 4 E’s , 1 F and 1 U. Levi endured a troubled upbringing following his parents divorce in 1997 and his behaviour became a significant problem whilst at secondary school; in total Levi was suspended 8 times from school between 2000 and 2005. He was fortunate to be able to sit his GCSE’s with his school at the time.
After moving in with his mum in 2005, Levi was presented with the opportunity to retake his GCSE’s in a one year course, giving him the opportunity to earn 5 GCSE’s. It is fair to say that Levi fully embraced this opportunity and never looked back.
Levi arrived at Harrow College in 2005 with 1 GCSE but left with 3 A's at A level in Mathematics, Business Studies and Law.
He was able to study Actuarial Science at Bayes Business School, achieving First Class Honours and regularly scored above 90% in his university exams.
Levi Francis is 33 years old, married with two kids and currently working as a Pricing Director at PIB Group.
