Lawrence Rosenberg is a multi-award-winning communications specialist, media trainer and founder of Rosenberg.Media, recognised for reaching the Final Five in Season 20 of BBC’s The Apprentice. Named one of PRWeek’s 30 Under 30 in 2024, Lawrence has built a career helping people, businesses and leaders communicate with clarity, confidence and impact.
A frequent media commentator, Lawrence has featured across national and regional media including The Telegraph, LBC, Metro, GB News and broadcast outlets. He has delivered exceptional results for clients in complex and competitive media environments, securing coverage in titles and platforms including The Financial Times, BBC News and the front page of the Evening Standard. His professional experience spans fast-growth startups, technology companies, policy campaigns, corporate advisory firms and major public-facing organisations, including Octopus Energy, AirCar, Apatura and the Heligan Group.
Before founding Rosenberg.Media, Lawrence developed a rare blend of communications, media and policy experience. He worked on public affairs campaigns that helped protect pensioners from harmful investment reforms and supported work linked to the legalisation of prescribed medicinal cannabis. He was also previously Director of The Pinsker Centre, where he worked alongside Prime Ministers, G7 ministers and international leaders. Alongside his agency work, Lawrence has mentored and trained more than 50 founders through the BlockDojo blockchain accelerator, helping startups understand how to tell their story, handle media attention and build credibility.
Lawrence’s talk is practical, funny and highly relatable for students. Drawing on his journey from sixth form uncertainty to university, politics, PR, The Apprentice and founding his own business, he shows young people why communication is one of the most important skills they will ever use, even if they never study it formally. His central message is simple: “Just. Do. Things.” Through honest stories, behind-the-scenes lessons, and real examples from his career, Lawrence encourages students to take initiative, build confidence, meet people, pursue opportunities, handle setbacks, and understand that success rarely follows a straight line.
The session is designed to leave students feeling energised, entertained and more aware of the power they already have to shape their own future.
