Frederick Afrifa is an award-winning motivational speaker, communications coach, and two-time national gold medalist whose life story embodies resilience, determination, and the power of self-belief. Born in Milan, Italy, Frederick moved to South London at the age of 12, speaking no English and sharing a single bedroom with his family of four in a modest flat. Despite these early struggles, he excelled both academically and athletically, balancing his education with a demanding sports career that saw him represent Italy’s national athletics team and win two gold medals.

In 2020, Frederick’s athletics contract was unexpectedly terminated, and he found himself working as a delivery driver. Refusing to be defined by this setback, he made a life-changing decision in 2021 to pursue motivational speaking. Just four years later, his relentless drive and passion led him to become a standout candidate on BBC’s The Apprentice (2025), showcasing his entrepreneurial mindset and leadership skills.

Frederick has worked with over 700 schools across the UK, delivering powerful talks and workshops that have transformed students' mindsets. His impact goes beyond motivation—he’s helped students on the verge of quitting college find the strength to continue, with many going on to achieve their qualifications after hearing his story.
