Chartered Psychologist Dr Nick Baylis, PhD (Jesus College, Cambridge University); Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
During his 8 years lecturing ‘Human Well-being’ at Cambridge University, Nick wrote ‘The Rough Guide to Happiness’ for Penguin Books, and wrote 100 weekly columns as ‘Dr FeelGood’ for The Times newspaper. He has been a guest with Libby Purvis on Midweek (Radio 4), and with Eddy Mair (Radio 4's daily PM Show), and Good Morning Britain (ITV). With his close colleague, a Professor of Medicine, Nick recently wrote 6 articles for the TES about 'thriving in the face of high-pressure.'
Nick says, "Since being invited by Dr Sir Anthony Seldon to help with his well-being initiatives at Wellington College in 2006, I’ve gladly presented at all of the UK’s major Head-Teacher conferences, given more than two hundred half-day training-workshops at leading educational institutions, healthcare organisations, and commercial businesses in the USA, Europe, Africa, and Scandinavia."
Nick has presented his fascinating insights-on-life all around the world to School Conferences, to School Students age 11 to 18, to Staff and to Parents (and has for several successive years been re-invited to present to the new 6th Formers at Harrow School, Whitgift (Croydon) and Berkhampsted School, among many others.
