Dr. Neelam Parmar currently works as Director of E-Learning at Ashford School, United Learning. She was previously employed as The Director of Digital Innovation and Learning across The London Preparatory Schools in South West London and was instrumental in leading the transformational change of embedding technology within learning and development.
She has spoken in conferences as a keynote speaker on in areas of EdTech with BETT, The Academies Show, ICT Education, Summit Moldova, UNESCO, Online Safety in Parliament and with Terrapinn in South Africa, Singapore and Dubai, with more recent presentations in India, World Congress Conference. Neelam has published books on Digital Literacy in the Primary curriculum and Digital Parenting with United Learning Trust and is now embarking on a new selection of short stores in women leadership with @WomenEd.
Neelam’s areas of expertise include developing online learning and strategy in schools, pedagogical use of mobile technology in classrooms for teachers, the implementation of digital literacies in curriculum, digital parenting for parents and more recently, digital well being for students. She is also committed to @WomenEdTech and empowers women in achieving excellence. She firmly believes that mobile technology can help fill the education gap and has a vision to extend effective teaching and learning to all.
