Diane has over 30 years’ experience in education, as a teacher, curriculum leader, headteacher, inspector, trainer and speaker. Diane now runs an award-winning training platform that has a national reach and influence, with over 700 schools accessing her online courses. In addition, Diane provides onsite training and speaks at conferences and education events.

Diane is passionate about top-quality curriculum design that inspires teachers and pupils alike. She has an up-to-date expert knowledge of current educational thinking about effective curriculum design and what meaningful learning, progress and assessment in different subjects looks like.

She is involved in curriculum research and contributes to national subject reports. Diane provides training and materials for schools, local authorities, MATs, consultants, English hubs, training providers and school improvement services across England. She is well known as an inspirational and motivational trainer and speaker who brings informed clarity and simplicity to curriculum thinking.

Diane works with all phases from early years through to secondary, with her specialism being primary. She has a proven track record in school improvement, which has been recognised in school performance and inspection outcomes.

Since 2014, Diane has carried out school inspection work and regularly leads inspections. Until 2020, Diane was the headteacher of a primary school in Shropshire, which she led to outstanding judgements in both Ofsted and SIAMS inspections.

In 2010, Diane wrote a successful children’s book. She has visited schools as an author and has been involved in projects to raise standards in primary schools.
In November 2019, Diane became a ‘Leading in Reading’ ambassador for the Shropshire Bookfest.

In 2023, Diane won the best staff training and development category in the National Independent Education Awards, best professional development in the Shropshire Business Awards and was a finalist in the National Facilitator Awards for the most impactful online training.
Diane has an up-to-date enhanced DBS check and professional insurance.
