Carl Foster’s early life was filled with struggle, due to difficult family life and battles at school with learning difficulties. These plagued the young Carl, and seemed to steal his hopes and dreams of achieving success in life. Carl's mother worried about him, and about how he was going to survive in this world and live a normal life.
To make positive change, Carl decided to take action on achieving his goals and dreams, studying and learning new skills and challenging himself e.g taking on work of employment that he knew nothing about, learning through trial and error, to achieve new growth and create a new life.
Consistent reading and writing to improve his poor literacy, Carl now developed his creative writing skills, and the ability to write poetry and inspirational quotes and perform empowerment talks. He also was very proud of his newfound public speaking skills because as a child and in adult life Carl was plagued by shyness of which held him back from achieving many of his personal goals.
Carl's hard work paid off, when in May 2012 Carl Foster, published his first book, entitled SelfMade (Finding the Goodness and Greatness within yourself) This opened new doors for Carl in his journey of personal growth and allowed him to reach out and support young people at schools and youth events, with his inspirational talks and Self Help Book.
Carl Foster has now found his purpose and decided to dedicate his life to supporting young people going through struggle.
