After 2 decades of crippling anxiety and clinical depression brought on by an inability to deal with, his own, neurodiversity in the form of ADHD & Autism Andy has now, successfully, worked through addiction recovery and has come out the other side to achieve a Guinness World Record for most 70.3 mile, or half iron distance, triathlons in a year!
Andy is now able to shed light on the meaning of what ADHD & Autism actually are to help those that neurodiversity directly affects.
Andy discusses how easily addictions can take hold, the brain chemistry behind addictions, tools for recovery and how he has used these tools to refocus his mind and lifestyle to achieve World Records.
Andy talks about what he wishes he had known when he was younger with an aim to educate, inform and inspire the younger generation to make better life choices.
An enthusiastic advocate for life, Andy has also gone on, post recovery, to achieve a career in SCUBA diving teaching all over the world and has now swum with over 20 species of shark with no cage!
For Andy’s next MAMMOTH project he’s planning to, become the first person to, officially swim an entire length of the Atlantic Ocean!
