Jack Nolan

Jack Nolan

From being illiterate to becoming a successful author; publishing a book after a mental health crisis

Jack Nolan, 21, suffered a major mental health crisis - a psychosis episode - at the age of 19. Moving on through recovery after broken down relationships and no hope for the future, Jack decided to take positive action and change his life for the better by creating the YOU CAN BECOME brand to help raise awareness, empower and motivate people. Jack is currently a published author and works in the creative world.

He is dedicated to turning his experience into a positive, through being unable to read and write at school, being a victim of crime and being bullied. Jack has certainly changed his life for the better. He believes that you really can become anything you set your mind to!

After Jack's breakdown he has been diagnosed with Bipolar, but has refused to let it stop him from creating a positive impact in todays society. Jack created 'You Can Become' to help spread awareness of mental health, identifying the signs early, and empowering and motivating positive change in your students' lives.

Jack can deliver talks on the following areas:

  • Mental Health
  • Bullying
  • Dealing with learning difficulties
  • Finding yourself
  • Failing forward
  • Being unbalanced
  • Dealing with stress
  • Achieving personal success
