Apprentice TV star Adam Corbally started his first business on his local market aged 19 selling fruit and vegetables two days a week. He quickly grew the business into a wholesale operation importing Fruit, Vegetables, Christmas Trees, Plants and Flowers from Europe to sell on to businesses across the North West of England.
The Market Challenge is always great fun, the students are given the brief to come up with an idea for a product, or service, to sell on a market stall. initially using this as a spring board to move on to bigger things, a simple task with a winning formula which engages each and every student giving them the opportunity to try their hand at new things the Market Challenge always brings out the best in students and explores talents some never knew they had.
Every student receives a certificate and there are spot prizes on the day and Winning Trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
