Testimonials from Teachers

"Very impressed with Katie – plenty of energy and, importantly, not too technical. Perfectly judged for 16/17 year olds who didn’t really have much idea of AI – they are quite tech savvy but, like me, thought it was about robots! Good PowerPoint as well. Well organised – she arrived early which gave the tech team chance to get her mic sorted and make sure the clicker and video worked properly. I am almost certain that we would like to use her again next year if possible."

– Dave Richardson, Deputy Head of Sixth Form, Berkhamsted

"I would like to endorse the work Katie does on Keeping Safe online with schools. Her presentation skills are excellent and engaging. Her subject knowledge is in depth and the students at the recently held E-Safety event organised in Bucks for secondary students indicated through the evaluations how much the teachers and students were impressed with her sessions."

– Yvette Thomas, Head of Equalities Children's Services, Buckinghamshire County Council

"Katie King has designed and delivered Social Media Workshops as Organisation al Staff Development activity at CCCU focussed to a mix of professional and academic staff communities. These sessions were visually vibrant, up to date in terms of technology and case study examples used. The sessions were also interactive and enabled those attending to share views, experiences and ideas. Staff feedback from the events she has delivered has been excellent with many staff reflecting on the relevancy of the material and it's thought provoking content, particularly for their own use of Social Media in work contexts and as individuals."

– Kath Abiker, Staff Development Advisor, Canterbury Christ Church University

"Katie King gave an inspirational talk to our sixth form students on how to use social media platforms like Twitter and LinkedIn to get on the career ladder and secure an internship."

– Mr T N King, Teacher of Business, Economics and Finance, St Gregory's Catholic School

"Katie's sessions over several days never failed to hit the mark, engage the audience and be entirely to the brief set. At the same time, she was flexible enough in her training to allow her to respond as and when different needs and questions emerged in the group."

– Kristine Pole, Senior Lecturer, Canterbury Christ Church University

"Katie was great - thanks so much. She was really engaging and well prepared. She tailored her content so that it was age appropriate and subject relevant and spoke enthusiastically. The girls really enjoyed hearing her talk; we ended up with just over 100 people on the call!"

– Lisa Moyle, Head of Economics and Business, Redmaids' High School

Really happy- very impressed with her talk- we are hoping to get Katie back again next year!

– Will Irving, Head of FutureTech & Teacher of Science, Reed's School

Katie’s visit was superb. The whole event went incredibly well and Katie’s presentation was particularly well received by all of our students. She fulfilled our requirements and was able to cater for the needs of all of the students, reaching out to our Medics, Engineers and Finance and Economics students. Her lecture on AI in the future was very fitting and it worked brilliantly at bringing all three careers areas together as well as our graduation event. We would certainly recommend her to other schools and educational establishments and would hope to be able to invite her back to Concord in the future.

– Georgie Hercock, Student Furtures Officer, Concord College

"Thank you so much for coming and giving such a great talk that was both inspiring and insightful, and for answering the various audience questions. We think people really enjoyed the event and several colleagues in school today have commented on how much they enjoyed the talk and how much they learned from it."

– Edward Funnell, PR, Eltham College
