“Lynda Shaw visited Cunningham Hill Junior School to speak to a class of Year 5 children on the subject of bullying. The session was built around her book Herman Homunculus, which the kids all thoroughly enjoyed. The content was age related and relevant and all children were engaged in the class discussions and activities – they were especially interested in the way that their brains worked and how different emotions had impacts on their brain’s function. I feel it was an extremely valuable session and the behaviour and attitude of the children definitely improved as a result of Lynda’s visit. As a class, we will definitely be able to utilise the information we were given.”
